On 10 September 2025 at 2:00 PM, New Uzbekistan University will host a lecture by Kumushoy Abduraimova, Assistant Professor of Finance at Durham University Business School. The session, titled “A Subtle Introduction to Financial Machine Learning,” will explore how machine learning is transforming finance, covering foundational concepts, unique challenges of financial data, and its potential for risk management and quantitative analysis.
Dr. Abduraimova holds a PhD and MSc from Imperial College London and has conducted research on systemic risk, financial contagion, and network-based risk.
